ChekorX is a collection of simple, on-chain abominations hacked together using elements from XCOPY's ALGO BRO. Their first piece in the FRESH HELL collection.

This was born from curiosity of what might be possible with art that is stored in full on the Ethereum network. I am taking full advantage of the CC0 license (Creative Commons Zero) applied to all XCOPY's artwork. It should be noted, I am not affiliated in any way. I only hope they don't mind my turning their work inside out.

The elements used to create the ChekorX images are not merely copied from the original ALGO BRO, they ARE the original elements. This is the power of on-chain.

Minting can result in 2 basic images, returning either a "check" or an "X". It's a flip of a coin, a heads or tails, yes or no, true or false, 0 or 1. It could be used to make that life altering decision, but probably shouldn't.

To account for unexpected outcomes, there is also a 3rd but rare, possibility. Such as the moment of confusion when a flipped coin slips through a crack in the floor boards and is lost forever.

Nothing is set in stone. Although these are fully on-chain, they are also mutable. The ChekorX contract has a flip function which is available to owners from the view page. If you don't like what you get, you can throw caution to the wind and try your luck again.
